Van Voorhis Architects is founded on the simple idea that our design partners should have an incredible experience creating and building their homes. We act as a guide through the entire process, seeking to empower our design partners to bring their visions to life.

Process

We’ll schedule a video call to get to know each other and determine if your project is a good fit for the studio.

We will have an in-depth discussion on your goals for the project. What spaces does your home need to include? What styles do you like? What is your project budget? What local codes will create constraints for the project?

We will work closely with you to develop a concept that addresses all of the goals we defined in the previous phase. We will use a mixture of floor plan drawings, 3d images, and virtual walk throughs to help you shape and visualize the design.

Once you are ecstatic with the design, we will address all of the technical minutiae needed to get it engineered and submitted for the necessary building permits.

We will work with you to hire a quality contractor who can execute the project to the high-standards we expect of our designs. We will act as your agent through construction, making sure the vision we defined for ourselves is realized.
Your Experience
We provide a personalized, concierge-style design service. You will work directly with the firm principal, Jeff Van Voorhis AIA, from start to finish to ensure every wish list item and concern is appropriately addressed in the final design.
